Stuart Ross
Writing & Literature
Stuart Ross has been active in the Canadian literary scene for over three
decades. He is the author of six collections of poetry, including the acclaimed
Hey, Crumbling Balcony! Poems New & Selected (ECW, 2003) and
I Cut My Finger (Anvil, 2007); a
collection of essays, Confessions of a
Small Press Racketeer (Anvil, 2005); and two fiction collections
Henry Kafka & Other Stories (Mercury,
1997) and the just-released Buying
Cigarettes for the Dog (Freehand Books). Stuart is Poetry Editor for
Mansfield Press and Fiction & Poetry Editor for
This Magazine. He has appeared at literary festivals and taught
writing workshops from British Columbia to Nova Scotia.
