Mara Lusis is an award winning fibre artist who has a passion for working in many mediums, with many types of fibre. She has been spinning, knitting and crocheting for over 20 years and has recently developed interest in weaving, needle felting and dyeing. Mara holds a Fibre Arts Certificate from St Lawrence College and a Spinning Certificate in the Ontario Handweavers and Spinners Spinning Certificate Programme. She the Central Region representative of the Ontario Handweavers and Spinners and a member of The Fibre Arts Collective, Great Pine Ridge Spinners and Weavers, Northumberland Hooks and Needles Guild, and The Latvian Handicrafts Association.
