Joel attended both the Illustration and Computer Animation programs at Sheridan College. His illustrations have been featured in such publications as Todays Parent Magazine, THIS Magazine, The New York Times and Applied Arts Magazine, among others. Joel has received numerous awards for illustration from CAPIC, Applied Arts Magazine and the New York Society of Illustrators. His animation work has been featured on Much Music, Edge TV and the Scream Channel. More recently his work has been seen on such television shows as JoJo’s Circus for Disney, MTV's Celebrity Death Match and Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All the World.
